The secret of successful New Year’s resolutions

Happy holidays to all of you, and best wishes for a new year filled with peace, prosperity, love, and joy.

Of course thoughts of the new year bring up thoughts of New Year’s resolutions.  And why not?  There are inevitably things we don’t like about ourselves or our lives. And sure as winter brings cold and snow to us up here in Boston, you feel a determination bubble up within you to change things. “This will be the year…” And like lots of us you feel on the verge yet again to make a New Year’s Resolution.

Getting through hard times together

OK, it’s happened.  Suddenly the wolf is at the door.  One way or another, the worldwide economic crisis has hit your household.  A layoff notice.  A sudden threat of foreclosure.  A downturn in your family business or practice.  It could just be the sense that things are going to be harder now.
