But then another stage is soon reached. The stay or go decision becomes real, and the question arises, What should I do with this relationship?
So . . . what’s the right answer? (more…)

The meaning of your pre-wedding gollywobbles
Seventy-thousand people are going to be married this week. Another 77,000 next week. Every week in fact. And almost every one of them is going to be nervous as hell. If you’re a bride or groom to be, or a friend of one, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

It’s a very old episode of Dragnet (dum da dum dum!)—here’s the link—and if you don’t like having the ending spoiled you should see it before you read further.
The show makes it clear that forgiveness for a terrible act of betrayal—worse in this case than simple adultery—can sometimes be so easy. We make clear what’s involved in bringing about forgiveness in our book I Love You but I Don’t Trust You, but I’d like to lay it out for you here, based on what happens in the show. (more…)

And of course for men there are sex dolls, now, it turns out, supplied by some hotels for their male clients.
Much more advanced sex robots are coming, if you’ll pardon the pun. And this raises the question: Is sex with a robot cheating? (more…)
